A Psalm On Why the Righteous Need Not Fear Death
I. Structure
A. 1-4. Introduction – This is a PSALM for our INSTRUCTION (Wisdom Psalm).
Not written to PRAISE GOD, but to INSTRUCT GOD’s PEOPLE.
THE QUESTION: “Why Shouldn’t I Fear?” (End of v. 4)

Because Riches Cannot Save the Wicked. |

No payment can purchase heaven. (7-8) |

C. 13-20. Because Only the Righteous Have Hope for Eternal Life
1. God will purchase my life. (15)

II. Application for the Believer
